Bewildered

Life is a bowl of cherries that keep busting

Or maybe balloons that inflate themselves until they burst

Did you ever walk around a block five times

You start thinking that other people are thinking that you are weird

The earth is covered in snow

Under the snow lies dead grasses and leaves and twigs

They're all waiting to turn back to earth

In the spring the earth will eat.

Each man is an island unto himself

I am a primitive man living in a civilisation created by my forefathers

I was deposited on step number 1946 it is now step number 2022

But I am still a primitive man.

There are forces around me that move me

If civilisation were to be removed right now

I would fall three stories, if I survived the fall which is questionable

I would be 100% bewildered
